Doughnut making

Doughnut making staff rise early in order to make our delicious doughnuts! This position is essential to ensure that all dough work from mixer to fryer is completed with time and efficiency in mind, and in order to ensure high quality and consistency.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Closely following recipes and instruction

  • Setting up and cleaning up work area

  • Efficient time-management

  • Prioritizing multiple demanding tasks

  • Responsible for proper storage, labeling and use of all food supplies

  • Ensure overall cleanliness and health standards are being met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Culinary/baking/pastry arts degree/diploma an asset

  • Commercial or personal kitchen/baking experience

  • Knowledge of yeast dough an asset

  • Physical ability to stand long hours; reach, bend, stoop; and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

  • Weekend availability is required
